Renewal Alerts
Customizable alerts for every expiration date across your licenses, certifications, DEA registrations, and malpractice coverage — so nothing lapses.
Request accessWhat this does
Every credential in your Vault has an expiration date. Renewal Alerts monitors all of them and delivers configurable advance notifications through your preferred channels — so the reminder arrives when you can still act on it, not the week it expires.
Key capabilities
- Alert coverage for all credential types: medical licenses, DEA registrations, board certifications, malpractice coverage, hospital privileges, state controlled substance registrations
- Configurable advance notice: 120 days, 90 days, 60 days, 30 days — set multiple per credential
- Email and in-app notification delivery
- Renewal action links — each alert includes a direct link to the relevant renewal portal
- Snooze and acknowledge — mark alerts as "in progress" to clear your notification queue without losing tracking
- Team alerts — for practices with office managers, alerts can be cc'd to designated staff
How it works
- 1
Set your preferences
Choose how far in advance you want alerts for each credential type. Set different lead times for different credential types based on how long renewal actually takes.
- 2
Receive alerts
Alerts arrive by email and in-app at your configured intervals. Each alert includes the credential details and a direct link to the renewal portal.
- 3
Track renewal progress
Mark renewals as in-progress or complete to keep your alert queue accurate.
Why this matters for independent physicians
DEA registration renewal requires 45 days processing time. State medical license renewal in some states takes 60–90 days. Malpractice renewal requires lead time for underwriting.
The problem is not that physicians forget to renew — it is that they receive the reminder too late to act without disruption.
Renewal Alerts are calibrated to the actual lead time required, not just a generic 30-day notice.
