Medkive exists because independent practice is worth doing — and harder than it should be. We build tools and resources that make it more navigable.
Why we built this
Independent physicians face a structural disadvantage. The administrative complexity of running a practice — credentialing, licensing, entity formation, revenue cycle management, regulatory compliance — is genuinely difficult, constantly changing, and poorly documented in one place. Large health systems have entire departments managing these functions. Independent physicians manage them alone, or not at all, which is why so many don’t survive the first two years.
Medkive was built to close that gap. Not by replacing the expertise of healthcare attorneys, CPAs, and credentialing professionals — but by making sure physicians know what they need, when they need it, and where to find it.

How we work
Physicians first
Every product decision starts with what makes independent practice more viable, not what drives engagement or revenue for Medkive. If it doesn’t help physicians practice independently, we don’t build it.
No conflicts of interest
We do not accept payment for placement in our resource directory. We do not recommend vendors we haven’t evaluated. We do not share physician data with third parties.
Honest about what we are
Medkive is a business. We offer RCM services and consulting that generate revenue. We are transparent about this. The free resources exist because we believe in independent practice — and because physicians who find Medkive useful sometimes become clients.
Current, not evergreen
Healthcare regulation changes constantly. We maintain our content actively and flag time-sensitive information clearly. If something might be outdated, we say so.
