State medical license

Oregon physicians apply to the Oregon Medical Board. Oregon is not an IMLC member.

OR requires medical school graduation, 1 year of postgraduate training (3 years for IMGs), USMLE/COMLEX passage, and primary-source verification.

Controlled-substance registration

Oregon does not require a separate state-level Controlled Substance Registration beyond the federal DEA registration. Oregon prescribers must register with the Oregon PDMP.

Medicaid enrollment

Oregon Medicaid (Oregon Health Plan) enrollment is administered through the Oregon Provider Enrollment Portal. Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs) handle most managed care.
